Web Development
You have to know, to have the know-how.
Web development is a broad term for any activity to developing a web site for the World Wide Web or an internet. This can include e-commerce business development, web design, web content development, client-side/server-side scripting, and web server configuration (Source: Wikipedia).
Thankfully, we have the ability to do all the above and more. We have been part of more than 500 projects throughout our careers.
Our Web Development Philosophy
Actually, things are very simple here. We summarize all in the phrase "This problem is solved". On every project we gather details and needed technology from the begininng and build up.
We develop a database scheme and structure where the client agrees on and further on that we design. According to feedback from client we make adjustments and start developing templates, pages and multimedia. In this phase we preent to the client again sampled pages to find out if we are still in the concept and project goals.
If the answer is Yes, we move on. Usually at this phase many details are clarified and minor issues are solved.
Finally, we end up with the project, set it up in the server, do a private pre-launch test with the client to see what we all like or need to enhance and then we launch.
Following that, we sumbit the website according to latest and needed practices for proper submission to Search Engines.
Ad Hoc Development
Ad hoc is a Latin phrase which means "for this [purpose]". It generally signifies a solution designed for a specific problem or task, non-generalizable, and which cannot be adapted to other purposes.
We develop custom solutions (either web based or desktop applications) for projects who do not fit in a standard solution and/or have special requirements. We are very good at this as we follow very good patterns of well designed proccesses. This way we develope top e-booking engines for hotels, channel management applications, inventory applications and more. Trust ChannelDoubler for your Web Development needs.
